GENERAL GUIDANCE FOR REVIEWING A TRIP BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Booking & Cancellation Information

This page explains the general difference between an enquiry, a quotation and a confirmed booking, and highlights the written details travellers should check. The quotation, confirmation and applicable supplier terms for a specific trip control that booking.

Important scope of this page

This is general information to help travellers read and discuss trip documents. It does not create the terms for every booking. The written quotation, written confirmation and applicable conditions of the hotels, transport providers, activity operators or other suppliers involved control the specific trip.

Before accepting or paying, read the material supplied for your itinerary. Ask Travel Connection to clarify any difference between this page and the written trip documents before you proceed.

Quotation compared with a confirmed booking

An enquiry tells Travel Connection what you want to explore. A quotation sets out a proposed route, service basis and amount using the information available at that stage. It is a proposal for review; it does not by itself mean that rooms, transport, activities or other components have been reserved.

A booking is confirmed only when the written confirmation says so and the stated conditions have been met. Check the traveller names, dates, route, stays, room basis, transport, activities and included services. Raise a difference rather than assuming an earlier discussion controls.

A Kerala itinerary may combine several suppliers and services, so the written basis for each trip matters.

Availability and price basis

Travel components can change in availability or price while an itinerary is being discussed. A room or transport option shown during planning may no longer be available when confirmation is requested. A revised option may have a different location, service basis, condition or amount.

The quotation should state relevant conditions for its basis. Supplier acceptance may still be required. Do not treat a screenshot, destination page or earlier conversation as a reservation unless the written confirmation supports that conclusion.

Inclusions, exclusions and assumptions

Read what is included line by line. Useful details may cover stay names or basis, room arrangement, meals, vehicle or transfer basis, sightseeing, activities, entry charges, taxes and any service explicitly described. The importance of each item depends on the route.

Also review exclusions and assumptions. Flights, personal expenses, optional activities, meals, entries or local costs are included only when the quotation says so. Ask for written clarification when wording is broad. The planning process explains why a clear inclusion basis is essential.

Traveller-requested changes

A request to change dates, names, route, stay, room, transport or activity after confirmation may require the affected services to be checked again. The supplier may accept the change, offer a substitute, change the amount or apply a condition under its terms.

Ask for the effect in writing before relying on a requested change. Until a revision is confirmed, the original written confirmation remains the clearest record. A request is not the same as acceptance by every affected supplier.

Cancellation and refund eligibility

Whether a cancellation qualifies for any refund depends on the written quotation or confirmation, the applicable supplier conditions, the services already committed and the timing and circumstances of the request. Different components in one itinerary may have different conditions.

Send a cancellation request through the contact method stated for the booking and keep the written record. Travel Connection needs to check the affected components before explaining the result. This page does not set a cancellation charge, refund amount or processing period. Those points must come from the specific written basis and the supplier response.

Traveller documents and accuracy

Travellers are responsible for checking that names and other supplied details match the documents they will use. They should also identify the entry, identity, health or travel documents relevant to their circumstances and destinations, using current official sources where necessary.

Travel Connection cannot determine every personal document requirement from a general enquiry. A missing, expired or inconsistent document may affect a confirmed service. Share only requested documents through an appropriate method.

Unused services and traveller decisions

If a traveller chooses not to use a confirmed stay, transfer, activity, meal or other service, any credit or refund depends on the applicable written terms and whether the supplier provides one. Non-use does not automatically reverse a commitment already made for the itinerary.

If you know in advance that a component will not be used, contact Travel Connection so the available options can be checked. Do not assume that one unused item changes the conditions of the remaining trip.

Disruptions and changes outside the planned route

Weather, road access, transport operations, local restrictions or supplier decisions can affect a planned service. The available response depends on what has changed, which supplier controls the component and what alternatives can be arranged at that time.

No general page can promise a particular outcome. Travellers should follow current safety and official instructions, stay reachable through the contact details attached to the booking and discuss material alternatives in writing. Any added or reduced cost needs to be explained against the applicable trip and supplier basis.

Questions and business or legal review

For a question about a proposed or confirmed trip, use the contact page and identify the relevant quotation or confirmation clearly. The privacy policy explains how details sent through the site are handled, while the Kerala tour hub remains a planning resource rather than a booking record.

Required before publication: Travel Connection should have this page reviewed by the business owner and a suitable legal adviser, then align it with the actual quotation, payment, supplier and record-handling process. Replace or approve the general wording only after that review.

Ask about the booking basis for your trip

Use the form to share your proposed dates and route. If you already have a quotation, identify the trip clearly and ask about any inclusion, change or condition you do not understand before proceeding.

By sending this enquiry, you agree that Travel Connection may contact you about this trip. Read the privacy policy.
